A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car crash on a main road in Hitchin yesterday afternoon.
Police and paramedics rushed to Bedford Road at about 4.45pm after the crash next to the Shell station opposite Hitchin Town FC’s Top Field ground.
An ambulance crew treated a woman described as in her 20s at the scene before taking her to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further assessment.
