A woman has been taken to hospital after her car overturned and ended up on its roof on a grass verge this evening, Monday.
Emergency services were called at about 5.45pm to Swangleys Lane – between Knebworth and Datchworth – after a grey Honda Civic overturned.
The car came to rest on its roof on a grass verge near to the turning for Old Lane.
The female driver, who was out of the car and being cared for by members of the public when the ambulance service arrived, was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with a non-life threatening head injury.
Update: Swangleys Lane was closed while the car was recovered but reopend at about 7.10pm.
