A 35-YEAR-OLD woman was rushed to hospital after nearly severing her arm, which she caught in a propeller at RAF Henlow.
At around 11am today (Friday) the civilian, somehow got too close to the propeller of the fixed-wing aircraft and almost lost her arm.
The Magpas Helimedix were flown to the scene by the Magpas and Police helicopter, where they assessed the patient and administered pain relief.
She was then escorted by the helimedix via land ambulance to Lister Hospital, where surgeons are trying to save her arm.
