Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage last night after reports of a person going into a lake.
The emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after 7.45pm after concerns were raised for a woman’s welfare.
A 23-year-old woman was treated by the ambulance service and taken to hospital, a police spokeswoman said.
Herts Fire & Rescue Service tweeted that the woman had already been rescued from the lake by the time they arrived at the scene.
