Woman hospitalised with chest injuries after car collision

EMERGENCY services were scrambled to a collision this morning (Friday), which left a woman with chest injuries.

Fire crews, paramedics and police were called to Hexton Road, Lilley, just after 7am.

It followed a collision between a van and car.

A woman was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital with a chest injury. Firefighters also had to stabilise the van, which was left in a precarious position following the collision.
