A WOMAN has been taken to hospital and a busy road shut after a crash during rush hour tonight (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to Gunnels Wood Road in Stevenage near to the junction with Clovelly Way at about 5.25pm after three vehicles collided.
A silver Toyota Yaris, a blue Peugeot 107 and a green DAF car transporter truck were involved.
Both Clovelly Way and Gunnels Wood Road, heading in the direction of the A602 Hitchin Road, have been shut with recovery currently on the scene.
A woman has been taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with what an ambulance spokesman described as “minor injuries”.
