A woman was taken to hospital following a crash on the A505 this morning (Saturday).
Emergency services were called at about 9.30am to the dual carriageway at Beech Hill between Hitchin and Luton after reports that two cars had collided.
A woman in her 60s was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with minor injuries.
The incident follows a car towing a horse box breaking down on the same section of road, causing heavy traffic delays in the area.
