A WOMAN was cut out from a car and taken to hospital after a crash involving a set of traffic lights.
Emergency services were alerted at about 8.10pm on Saturday after a silver Ford Focus collided with a set of traffic lights situated on Monkswood Way in Stevenage.
Ambulance crews from Letchworth GC and Stevenage attended the scene by Asda supermarket and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to cut the female passenger out the car.
Once freed, the woman was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment for a neck injury. The driver of the car, a man, was uninjured.
