A woman who suffered head injuries when she was hit by a moped along a cycle path has been released from hospital.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened on the cycle path that passes under Lonsdale Road, at the junction with Fairlands Way, Stevenage.
The 46 year old victim, who was taken to Lister Hospital for emergency treatment on Friday, September 26, was allowed to return home five days later.
The moped driver, along with the passenger he was carrying, are thought to be aged in their late teens and one was wearing a white helmet with a pattern on it.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101, quoting log number 742 of September 26.
