A DOG who jumped out of a moving vehicle and into a busy road this morning (Friday) has been reunited with its owner after being rescued by police.
The German Shepherd jumped out of a car and onto the A602 Hitchin Road near Coreys Mill roundabout in Stevenage at around 9.45am.
The canine was running in the road and causing traffic problems so police were called in a bid to catch the Alsatian.
After successfully rescuing the dog at 9.55am, police then met with the female owner 15 minutes later outside the Sainsbury’s Coreys Mill store where the pair were reunited.
