Emergency crews rushed to the aid of an unconscious teenager on a Letchworth pavement yesterday before taking him to hospital.
Paramedics and 10 police cars were sent to Spring Road at about 2pm amid concerns for the teenage boy’s welfare.
The circumstances of the incident are unclear, but police have confirmed to the Comet that he had not been assaulted.
An ambulance crew and rapid response vehicle medic treated the boy at the scene for what a spokesman called ‘a variety of minor injuries’ before taking him to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further care.
