Two people were injured in a crash on a country road between Hitchin and Luton yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to Lilley Bottom, in King’s Walden, at about 1pm after reports of a crash near the junction with Church Road.
The vehicles involved were a white Nissan Leaf and silver Mitsubishi Carisma, both of which were recovered.
Paramedics and Hitchin firefighters also attended the scene.
Two people were injured in the crash, and were treated at the scene before being taken to Luton and Dunstable University Hospital.
