Two people were taken to hospital after a collision on a country lane on Sunday afternoon.
Police, fire fighters and paramedics were called to Old Knebworth Lane shortly before 2.40pm near Knebworth Cricket Club after reports of two people trapped in a collision between a red Ford Fiesta and a blue Vauxhall Astra.
When the emergency services arrived they had managed to free themselves.
They were taken to Lister Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash forced the closure of the road until 3.50pm.
