TWO women were taken to hospital yesterday (Wednesday) after two cars collided on the A1(M).
The East of England Ambulance Service were alerted to a report of two vehicles in collision on the northbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 7 for Stevenage at 10.06am.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “Both occupants of one of the cars involved received slight injuries in the collision. Paramedics treated them at the roadside before they were taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
The driver of the other car was uninjured.
