TWO men have been taken to hospital after a crash on a road in Graveley this morning (Thursday).

Emergency services were alerted to B197 Gravely Road at around 7.15am following a report of a gold Subaru Estate and a blue Mazda colliding near the Highwayman pub, in the Jack’s Hill area of the village.

The B197 was closed by police while the vehicles were recovered, and the men, one believed to be in his 30s and the other in his 50s, were taken to Lister Hospital.

The road reopened at 9am.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “Two men both received slight injuries during the collision. They were treated by paramedics at the roadside before they were conveyed to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
