Two people were taken to hospital and a road partially closed after two cars collided at a major junction in Hitchin last night.
The police and ambulance services were called at around 7.50pm to the A602 Parkway after a black Honda Accord and a black Kia Sportage collided at the junction with Charlton Road.
Both vehicles needed to be recovered and police closed the road in the direction of the town centre until 9.40pm.
The drivers of both cars were taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with minor injuries.
