TWO crashes have occurred on the A1(m) in as many hours today (Friday).
Emergency services were called to the scene of the first accident at 1.51pm, which occurred on the slip road into Stevenage on junction 7. A red Puegeot 206 crashed into a Red Vauxhall Tigra which then knocked a red Audi A4 off the road. No-one was injured in the incident and the Audi A4 has been recovered.
Ambulance crews were called again when a grey Fiat Punto crashed into the central reservation between junctions 6 and 7 heading northbound. No-one was injured and police are working to recover the car.
