A TWO car smash in Hitchin caused a road to be shut during rush hour this morning (Friday).
The incident occurred at 7.25am this morning on Highbury Road, at the junction with Hollow Lane and Wilbury Road. It is believed that one of the cars was in collision with a tree.
The road was closed both ways while police dealt with the incident involving the silver Vauxhall Corsa and blue Honda Civic.
The incident was reported dealt with just over an hour later. No-one was believed to be injured.
