A CRASH involving two cars during the rush hour is causing tailbacks on the A1(M) this morning (Tuesday).
A silver Ford Fiesta and a blue Peugeot 406 collided while travelling southbound near Junction 9 for Letchworth Gate at 7.55am.
One carriageway was blocked as a result of the incident but was clear by 8.15am.
No-one involved was hurt.
Traffic is currently heavy on the A1(M) southbound from Junction 9 through to Junction 7 for Stevenage.
