Great Northern and Thameslink services are expected to be affected for more than an hour this evening after the line towards Cambridge has been blocked.
Both service providers announced that a "problem in the depot near Royston has resulted in the towards Cambridge being blocked."
Services running through Hitchin are likely to be delayed or revised, with disruption expected until 7pm.
