A signalling failure at Hitchin is causing delays to train services this morning (Tuesday).
The problem was logged at around 10am with passengers currently facing delays of up to 30 minutes on the Great Northern line between Stevenage and Peterborough/Cambridge.
There is no timescale yet for when services are expected to return to normal.
Update 10.35am: The problem has now been fixed by Network Rail but train operator First Capital Connect said there will still be “residual delays whilst services recover”.
