SHEER weight of traffic has been causing delays on the A1(M) this morning (Monday).
There are currently queues between Junction 9 for Letchworth Gate and Junction 7 for Stevenage going southbound.
The delays are believed to be related to a London tube strike by RMT and TSSA union members which will be in place throughout today.
