Traffic delays were caused by a crash on the A1(M) this morning (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the scene near Stevenage at junction 7 northbound at 7.10am after reports of an overturned car.
The vehicle, a red Daihatsu Sirion, rolled onto the embankment and left some debris in the road.
Police closed off the outside lane but reopened it at 8.57am. No-one was injured in the incident.
