Traffic delays were caused by a crash on the A1(M) last night (Monday).
Police were called to the scene at junction 6, for Welwyn, at 5.53pm when a red Skoda Octavia Ambiente collided with the central reservation while travelling southbound.
The right-hand lane was temporarily closed while police cleared the area, causing traffic to back up towards junction 7 for Stevenage.
The lane was reopened by 7pm.
No-one was injured in the incident.
