Three people were hurt in a two-car crash between Baldock and Royston yesterday evening – which resulted in the stretch of road being closed for two hours.
Police and the ambulance service were called at about 5.40pm to the incident at the A505 Slip End junction for Ashwell.
Three ambulances and one rapid response vehicle attended the scene to treat the patients for minor injuries. All three patients were taken to hospital for further treatment.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash – a silver Volkswagen Golf and a gold Toyota Yaris. Road closures were put in place from 6pm to 8pm while both vehicles were recovered.
