Three left injured after collision on southbound carriageway of A1(M) at Stevenage

Ambulances are still at the scene of a three-car collision on the A1(M) this morning.

Police were called at 10.49am after the collision on the slip road of the southbound carriageway of the A1(M) at Junction 7 for Stevenage.

Two vehicles were blocking part of the road.

A black BMW 3 series, a grey Fiat Punto and a silver Ford Fiesta were involved in the crash and two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.

Three casualties are being treated and it ius understood one has been taken to the Lister Hospital.
