THREE people have been arrested following a collision on a main road yesterday (Monday), which left three needing hospital treatment.
Emergency services were called after two cars collided on the A602 Stevenage Road, near Kingshott School.
A blue Vauxhall Astra and a silver Mercedes were involved, with police believing a number of people inside the latter made off from the scene.
Three men aged 17, 22 and 24 have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Two people had to be cut free from the Astra and suffered minor injuries, while a man from the Mercedes suffered serious leg injuries. All three were taken to Lister Hospital.
It happened just after 9pm, with the road closed in the Stevenage direction shortly afterwards.
