An accident on a main Stevenage road is causing traffic mayhem in the town this morning.
The northern end of London Road between the Six Hills Way roundabout and the mini-roundabout at the rear of ASDA is closed – causing delays as drivers are forced traffic through the Roaring Meg retail park and other roads in the area.
The closure was put in by police after a silver Ford Fiesta and a black Kia Rio collided at around 8.40am – partially blocking the road. No-one was hurt.
A recovery vehicle is currently at the site.
