A MAIN road through Stevenage has been shut after a lorry and a car collided near to a supermarket this morning (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to the traffic lights junction outside Asda on Monkswood Way at 9.45am after a white Iveco Tesco lorry collided with a red Renault Laguna.
The lorry driver was unhurt, while a family of five have all required treatment at the scene for minor injuries. No one requires hospital treatment.
The road has been closed northbound after the left turning to McDonalds on the Roaring Meg Retail Park up to the roundabout joining with St George’s Way while the lorry is recovered.
