A major road through Baldock has been shut by police after a five-vehicle crash this afternoon.
Officers were called at about 1.10pm to reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles in Station Road, close to the railway bridge.
A police spokeswoman said it is not thought anyone has been injured, but the road remains closed at this time – up to the Bygrave Road turning towards Ashwell.
The spokeswoman was unable to confirm any further details about the crash at this stage, but said investigations are on-going.
