Snow causes a go-slow but no major incidents

SNOW has slowed traffic across Comet country, but there are no reports of any serious incidents.

The overnight white-out has left motorists on a go-slow to work and on the school run as they battle the slushy conditions.

Three cars were involved in a shunt on the A1m near Junction 9 at around 8.30pm causing tailbacks and traffic in general on the motorway has been slow.

In Stevenage two cars collided on Gunnels Wood Road shortly after 9pm blocking the road by the underpass for 15 minutes. No-one was hurt.

The ambulance service has reported no call-outs this morning.
