SIX people were taken to hospital after three cars collided on the A1(M) on Saturday afternoon.
Four ambulance crews from Letchworth GC attended the scene after reports of a crash on the southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 7 for Stevenage at 12.25pm.
A red Vauxhall Frontera, a blue Honda Civic and a blue Ford Focus were involved.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson, who attended the incident, said: “All six people involved were taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage as a precautionary measure.”
