A BUILDING in Stevenage has been evacuated and an isolation zone put in place this morning (Wednesday), after a car collided with a gas tank on the side of the road and caused it to leak.
Police and fire services attended the scene at Gunnels Wood Road, Stevenage at 9.20am this morning, after reports that gas was leaking onto the road.
A 100 metre evacuation zone was put in place, and the nearby Self Storage building was evacuated.
