A points failure has disrupted trains between Stevenage and Hertford North today.
Lines between these stations have been blocked to repair the faults, meaning that the disruption is likely to last the rest of the day.
Buses, leaving every half hour, will replace the rail service and there will be mutual ticket acceptance between Thameslink and Great Northern services.
Rail operator Great Northern advises leaving extra time for your travel if you are going this way.
Arriva buses on route 724 between Hertford North and Welwyn Garden City will also accept tickets.
