SHEER weight of traffic has been causing delays on the A1(M) during the rush hour this morning (Monday).
Traffic has been backing up going southbound at Junction 10 for Stotfold and was heavy at Junction 9 for Letchworth Gate and Junction 8 for Stevenage.
A police spokesman confirmed that no accident had taken place and that the volume of traffic was causing the delays.
