Emergency services remain at the scene after a car crash in Stevenage this morning.
The crash happened in London Road just before 7am and involved a green Ford Focus, which collided with a lamppost.
A witness told the Comet that the car landed on the central island. It is described as too damaged to drive, and will need to be recovered.
Police are still at the scene, with traffic able to get by. A force spokeswoman said there did not appear to be injuries.
