An appeal has been launched to trace the driver of a red car after a motorcyclist crashed in Hitchin.
The motorcyclist had been travelling along Willian Road at about 6.55am on May 7 – the day of the general and local elections – when the car pulled out of the crossroads at Queenswood Drive and into Kingswood Avenue.
It is believed the biker had to break suddenly and fell from his motorcycle, suffering injuries to his ribs.
Officers are looking to speak to the driver of the red car, as well as any witnesses who saw what happened.
