NINE people have been hurt after two cars collided in Stevenage yesterday (Tuesday).
The crash occurred just after 3.30pm on London Road, close to the roundabout with the junction of Six Hills Way. A blue Ford Galaxy which was travelling towards the town and a red Ford Fiesta which was travelling away from the town were in collision on the road. The three people in the Ford Fiesta all sustained serious injuries.
There were six occupants of the Ford Galaxy - a man and a woman who received minor injuries, and four children aged between five and 10, two with minor injuries and two who suffered broken legs. Anyone who witnessed this collision or the events leading up to it is asked to contact PC Felicity Moody via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
