Two men in their 80s were hospitalised with head injuries today (Wednesday) after accidents in Stevenage and Knebworth.
Two ambulance crews and the Herts Air Ambulance were sent to Deards End Lane, Knebworth at midday after a man fell backwards down a flight of stairs. He was unresponsive when paramedics arrived. They took him to Lister Hospital for further care.
Paramedics attended a second incident at 3pm on Grove Road, Stevenage where a male pedestrian suffered facial injuries in a collision with car. He was also taken to Lister.
