A pedestrian who sustained serious head injuries when he collided with a car yesterday (Wednesday) is in ‘very critical’ condition, according to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The man, who is in his 30s, was involved in a collision on Cambridge Road, Hitchin, outside The Millstream pub, at around 7.40am.
Paramedics and a critical care team were dispatched to the scene; he was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care, but was later moved to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
At the time of the crash the man’s condition was described as critical.
