A PEDESTRIAN who collided with a car on the A1(M) remains in hospital with serious leg injuries.
A man was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage following an incident on the northbound carriageway between junction 9 for Letchworth Gate and 10 for Stotfold shortly before 7pm on Monday.
The man has undergone surgery and is currently in a stable condition.
Police closed one lane yesterday (Tuesday) to take photos at the scene as part of a crash investigation, which caused heavy traffic on the motorway.
