A MAN was hospitalised this morning (Wednesday) after a hit and run.
Police and ambulance crews were alerted to the High Street in Hitchin at 6.45am, following a 999 call from a man who said his foot had been ran over.
A vehicle with a trailer reportedly drove over the man’s foot before making off without stopping.
The man was taken Lister Hospital with a foot injury, after being treated and stabilised at the roadside by paramedics.
