A lane of the A1(M) northbound was closed this morning after two cars collided near Junction 6.
Emergency services were called to the scene after a silver Ford Fiesta and a grey Chevrolet crashed at about 7.20am.
A rolling road block was initially put in place by the police back to Junction 4 for Welwyn Garden City and Hertford, but it has now been removed.
