A crash believed to involve two cars and a van is causing tailbacks on the A1(M) northbound this morning around Junction 6 for Welwyn.
One lane of the motorway remains blocked after a crash at about 7.45am which police believe involved a silver Mercedes C Class, a silver BMW 1 Series and a white Vauxhall Movana van.
The ambulance service were called and one person has been taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage, but it is not thought anyone has been seriously injured.
Police remain on the scene as the Mercedes needs recovering, and traffic heading towards Stevenage at Junction 7 is backing up to Junction 5 for the B197.
