A motorcyclist has been injured after a collision with a car on the Stevenage roundabout for the A1(M) and A602.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the Corey’s Mill roundabout at 11am today after reports of a crash involving a black Nissan Juke and a yellow Yamaha motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage with what police described as minor injuries.

One lane of the road was closed while both vehicles were recovered.

The road is now fully open and officers have left the scene.
