A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash with a van on the A602 in Stevenage this morning, police have confirmed.
The incident happened in Broadhall Way near the slip road for Junction 7 of the A1(M) – and the westbound carriageway has been closed since.
A force spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 7.11am today to Broadhall Way, Stevenage – just before the A1(M) slip road – to reports of a collision involving a motorbike and van.
“The motorcyclist has been taken to the Lister Hospital with a suspected broken leg.
“Police are still at the scene.”
