A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car on an A602 roundabout in Stevenage this morning.
The collision happened at about 10am, on the roundabout where Six Hills Way meets St George’s Way – with the road closed for a period afterwards.
Police, firefighters, an ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene and assisted the motorcyclist, described by emergency services as a man aged in his 30s.
He was able to walk to the ambulance before being taken to the town’s Lister Hospital for further care. His injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
The car involved, a silver Nissan Juke, was recovered from the scene.
