A MAN has been airlifted to hospital and a road closed after a collision this evening (Thursday).
Police, paramedics and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to a two-vehicle collision at Pixmore Way, Letchworth GC, at about 4.30pm today.
A motorcycle had been in collision with a car, with the motorcyclist sustaining injuries. He has been flown to hospital.
Police closed the road at the junction with Broadway.
