A MOTORBIKE and a car collided at the weekend blocking a busy road.

Emergency services were called to Gresley Way in Stevenage at about 12.10pm on Saturday after reports of a crash involving a red Suzuki motorbike and a silver Toyota Yaris.

The driver of the Yaris, a man in his 90s, and the male motorcylist, in his 20s, did not require hospital treatment.

The collision occurred near the junction for The White Way and police remained at the scene until 1.40pm while the vehicles and spilt oil was removed.
