A disabled woman is in hospital with serious injuries after a 4x4 collided with her mobility scooter.
The woman was struck by a white Toyota Hilux on Popple Way, Stevenage just after 1pm (Friday). The male driver was unhurt.
A police spokesman said the woman’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A road closure was in place until 1.40pm.
